- NITI Aayog’s “Reimagining Skilling for Viksit Bharat@2047” report finds around 8.7 crore youth aged 15–29 are NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training), with only about 3% of women in formal employment.
- The same report shows just 8.25% of graduates get jobs matching their qualifications, and recommends introducing GEES from Class 6 and “Kaushal Tracks” from Class 9.
- July 2026 PLFS data shows Female Labour Force Participation Rate rose from 30% (2019–20) to 40% (2025), driven mainly by rural women (45.9% FLFPR) while urban FLFPR remains low at 27.7%.
- NADCP (National Animal Disease Control Programme), a 100% centrally-funded scheme launched in 2019, aims to eradicate Foot and Mouth Disease by 2030 and control Brucellosis through mass livestock vaccination.
- PM-AASHA (launched 2018) bundles four mechanisms — Price Support Scheme, Price Stabilization Fund, Price Deficiency Payment Scheme, and Market Intervention Scheme — to protect farmers from price crashes and stabilise MSP realisation.
