- Punjab’s sacrilege law has revived the debate on balancing religious sentiment protection (BNS Sections 298 and 299) with free speech, secularism, and social reform, with concerns about vagueness and a “heckler’s veto.”
- India and Japan signed a Memorandum of Arrangement on Maritime Security Cooperation, agreeing to boost joint shipbuilding, deploy the UNICORN stealth-antenna system, and deepen DRDO-ATLA defence tech ties.
