The CLAT 2025 eligibility criteria cover the terms and conditions the candidate must fulfill to appear in the CLAT exam, depending on the course (UG or PG) the candidate is seeking for admission to law school.

CLAT UG Eligibility 2025

Educational Qualification
Those candidates who have passed the 12th or an equivalent exam with at least:

45% of marks or its equivalent grade or

40% of marks or equivalent for those candidates belonging to categories SC/ST/PwD.

Note:

  • Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination in March/April 2025 too can apply.
  • There is no upper age limit for appearing for the CLAT 2025.

CLAT PG Eligibility 2025

Educational Qualification
A degree in LL.B or an equivalent exam with at least::

50% of marks or its equivalent grade or

45% of marks or its equivalent grade for candidates from SC/ST/PwD categories.
