How to Calculate Your Age for RJS Eligibility
Under Rule 17 of the Rajasthan Judicial Service Rules, 2010, your RJS age eligibility is determined on the first day of January following the last date fixed for receipt of applications. You then compare your age on that date with the applicable minimum and maximum age limits to confirm eligibility.
How to Calculate Your RJS Age?
You can complete the RJS age calculation in four steps:
Step 1: Check the last date for submitting the RJS application form.
Step 2: Identify the first January 1 following the application deadline. This becomes the applicable age calculation date.
Step 3: Calculate your completed age on that date using your date of birth.
Step 4: Compare your age with the applicable RJS age limit, including any upper-age relaxation available for your category.
For example, if the application deadline falls on 30 March 2026, the applicable age calculation date would be 1 January 2027. You would calculate your completed age as of 1 January 2027 and then compare it with the prescribed RJS age criteria.

PwBD and Ex-Servicemen get relaxation as per provisions specified in the notification. Relaxation cannot be claimed under multiple categories.
