Can I give IPMAT after 12th? Yes. Candidates who have passed Class 12 or are appearing for Class 12 can be eligible for IPM admissions, but the qualifying year, minimum marks, age limit and other conditions vary across IIMs. IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak conduct their own aptitude tests, while IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu use JIPMAT.
Class 11 students cannot apply for the 2027 cycle because Class 12 is the qualifying examination. Class 12 students can apply provisionally, subject to institute-specific result deadlines. Droppers can also apply, but their Class 12 passing year, age and marks must match the applicable IIM or JIPMAT rules.
