Q2. Health insurance is an important means of providing financial protection and ensuring access to quality healthcare. However, the level and type of health insurance coverage in India differ considerably between urban and rural areas. Urban residents generally have greater access to organized insurance schemes, employer-sponsored coverage, and information about health policies. In contrast, rural populations often face limited access to insurance schemes, inadequate healthcare infrastructure, and lower awareness.
